Job summary

Himalayas is seeking experienced Japanese interpreters for a fully remote, per-minute or fixed-rate role. Positions available as full-time or part-time with immediate onboarding and paid training for full-time hires.

Responsibilities include handling calls professionally, mastering healthcare terminology, and reporting to the team leader. Strong English proficiency and 1+ year interpreting experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficiency/Bilingual/Native level of English and Japanese.
• 1+ years of interpreting experience (Desirable).
• Strong listening and memory retention skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls professionally and follow interpreters' code of conduct.
• Familiarize with healthcare/medical vocabulary relevant to interpretation.
• Participate in internal professional training.
• Communicate and report to team leader.
