Alignerr is seeking native or near-native Italian transcriptionists to support AI training. This fully remote, hourly contract role offers flexible scheduling with 10–40 hours per week.

You will deliver precise, verbatim Italian transcripts from real-world audio, including crosstalk and background noise, following strict style guidelines and project rules. Ideal candidates have exceptional listening skills, attention to detail, and the discipline to work independently.

Qualifications

• Must be native or near-native Italian speaker with excellent listening and transcription accuracy.
• Able to reproduce verbatim dialogue, including crosstalk and natural speech phenomena.
• Strong ability to follow detailed style guides and formatting rules.

Responsibilities

• Listen to Italian audio recordings and produce precise, verbatim transcriptions.
• Accurately capture crosstalk, overlapping speakers, filled pauses, and other natural speech features.
• Identify and distinguish multiple speakers across recordings.
• Handle challenging audio conditions like background noise and varying accents or dialects.
• Follow transcription style guides and formatting conventions with consistency.
• Apply timestamps, speaker labels, and annotation tags as required by guidelines.
• Flag unclear or inaudible segments and complete tasks independently on schedule.
