A leading consultancy firm is seeking an IT Technical Lead – Software & DevOps to oversee technology infrastructure and align it with business goals. This role involves strategic planning, leadership, and collaboration to implement IT systems that enhance productivity and efficiency. The ideal candidate has over 15 years of IT leadership experience, with a strong focus on Java and DevOps methodologies. Responsibilities include managing IT teams, ensuring compliance with security standards, and overseeing the DevOps pipeline for successful application delivery.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in IT leadership, architecture, specializing in Java.
• PMP certification is highly desirable.
• Fluent in DevOps methodologies.
• Highly skilled in DevOps tools such as Cloud Bees Jenkins, GitHub, Nexus etc.
• Proven experience in IT management roles, preferably as a contractor.
• Highly knowledgeable in Java, J2EE, Objected Oriented Programming Concepts and Patterns, XML, REST, Spring Boot/microservices, workflow architecture, and container-based technologies (e.g. OpenShift, Docker, Kubernetes etc.).
• Ability to deliver results within tight project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT strategies within project timelines.
• Manage and lead IT teams to achieve project deliverables.
• Evaluate and recommend technology investments tailored to project needs.
• Oversee system updates, migrations, and upgrades permanent to the project.
• Ensure compliance with IT security standards and project specific policies.
• Oversee the operation of the DevOps deployment pipeline to ensure successful application delivery.
