Job summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Momentum Tester (IT Quality Assurance Analyst) to validate Momentum Financials based systems for a Federal Government client. The role is currently remote with schedule changes based on contract needs.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS, 3+ years in functional/technical analysis or testing of federal financial applications, and strong communication skills to coordinate with clients and stakeholders while ensuring compliance and reliability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in functional and/or technical system analysis or operation.
• Experience in functional and technical testing of federal financial applications.
• Expertise with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with federal Government accounting and financial management policies, practices, operation, and procedures.
• Strong communications skills, including contributing to discussions with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Contribute Test Plans to address testing of components, configurations, workflows, reports, transactions, and interfaces.
• Execute program test plans, test specifications, test procedures according to schedule.
• Contribute to preparation and review of test procedures and reports.
• Validate availability and functionality of the Momentum components and related financial applications.
• Test availability and configuration of the front-end user interfaces.
• Support analysis test results to determine if the system has met the requirements and all features are working as intended.
• Execute tests in alignment with requirements documents and maintenance release notes.
• Provide recommendations on improving functionality and mission usage of applications, databases, and environments.
• Test ongoing maintenance releases to include patching, backup and recovery, new release rollouts, and upgrades.
