Job summary

AHU Technologies Inc. in Washington, DC seeks a Master-level Information Assurance and Security Specialist for a 1099/W2 employment arrangement.

You will identify network problems, monitor data traffic, enhance security, and advise on preventing threats while ensuring reliability and enterprise-grade security across on-premises and Azure cloud environments. The role requires extensive experience with VMware ESXi, NetApp Storage, disaster recovery, AD, and complex enterprise projects.

Qualifications

16+ years of experience developing, maintaining and recommending enhancements to IS policies/requirements
16+ years of experience performing vulnerability/risk analyses of computer systems/apps
16+ years of experience identifying, reporting and resolving security violations
Cloud-Azure (Highly Desired)
Expert understanding of Windows server operating systems
Experience in complex Enterprise-level projects
Good understanding of IP Networks/Security
Extensive NetApp SAN experience
Hands-on experience managing storage on VMware ESXi
Windows 2016 AD Enterprise troubleshooting experience
In-depth experience with Disaster Recovery & Avoidance planning
VMWare Site Recovery Manager experience (Highly Desired)
Excellent understanding of troubleshooting IT infrastructure

Responsibilities

Determines enterprise information assurance and security standards.
Develops and implements information assurance/security standards and procedures.
Coordinates, develops, and evaluates security programs for an organization.
Recommends information assurance/security solutions to support customers’ requirements.
Identifies, reports, and resolves security violations.
Establishes and satisfies information assurance and security requirements based upon analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.
Supports customers at the highest levels in developing and implementing doctrine and policies.
Applies know-how to government and commercial systems with specialized security features.
Performs analysis, design, and development of security features for system architectures.
Analyzes and defines security requirements for computer systems including mainframes, workstations, and PCs.
Designs and implements security solutions meeting requirements.
Provides integration and implementation of computer system security solutions.
Analyzes information assurance-related problems and provides engineering support.
Performs vulnerability/risk analyses during all phases of the SDLC.
Ensures information systems are functional and secure.
