Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead IT infrastructure projects in a fully remote role, coordinating across distributed teams to deliver server, network, and cloud upgrades. Requirements: 7+ years in IT project management, a Bachelor's in CS/IT, strong leadership and communication; familiarity with Jira/Asana/MS Project; ITIL or PMP desirable.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
7+ years of IT project management experience with infrastructure focus.
Proven ability to manage server, network, and cloud projects.
Experience leading distributed or remote IT teams; PMP/ITIL desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead planning and execution of IT infrastructure projects, including server deployments, network upgrades, and cloud initiatives.
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Manage project teams of sysadmins, network engineers, and security specialists.
Identify, assess, and mitigate risks, issues, dependencies.
Ensure effective communication with stakeholders with regular status updates.
Oversee implementation ensuring adherence to specs and quality standards.
Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations.
Facilitate remote team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
