Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking an IT Audit Manager to support SOX testing for a client engagement. The consultant will plan, execute, and report on ITGC and application control testing, coordinate with stakeholders, and support remediation activities to ensure compliance with SOX requirements.

Qualifications

• Recent SOX ITGC testing experience at senior associate or manager level.
• Knowledge of COSO, COBIT and ITIL frameworks and standards.
• Experience with ERP environments and financial reporting applications.
• Strong documentation skills and familiarity with audit or GRC tools.
• Ability to manage timelines across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CPA or CIA are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute SOX ITGC and application control testing per methodologies.
• Evaluate IT controls over change management, access, operations and interfaces.
• Perform walkthroughs, develop test procedures, document results with evidence.
• Identify control deficiencies and support remediation and retesting.
• Coordinate with process owners, external auditors, and stakeholders on scope.
• Prepare status updates, testing summaries and issue logs for leadership.
• Support risk assessments, scoping and control rationalization activities.
