Job summary

Tier One Technologies seeks an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) to support a US Government client. This remote contract-to-hire role can originate in Falls Church, VA, Morrisville, NC, or Eagan, MN.

Responsibilities include SME for A&A, threat/vulnerability assessments, and ensuring compliance with NIST RMF and ISO standards to meet IA requirements. Candidates must be a US citizen or green card holder and able to obtain a Position of Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of cybersecurity-related experience.
• Degree in an applicable field or 4 additional years of related experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency with NIST RMF and ISO standards.
• Experience evaluating and supporting A&A documentation and accreditation processes.
• Experience with security architectures and enterprise IT security controls.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for the A&A process, guiding stakeholders and teams.
• Conduct assessments of threats and vulnerabilities.
• Identify deviations from configurations or policies.
• Assess risk and propose mitigations for operational and non-operational settings.
