Job summary

Infinite Computer Solutions seeks an experienced iSeries Developer Analyst (RPG) to support IBM i applications. You will design, develop, maintain, and optimize RPG/CL code, work with SQL/DB2, and collaborate with business and technical teams. Remote in the US with occasional in-person meetings near Dallas, TX; the role is a 6‑month contract.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of RPG/CL programming, strong DB2 and security knowledge, and a proven ability to deliver quality results on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in IT or related field.
• 10+ years of programming using RPG and CL in IBM i environments.
• Strong RPG, CL, SQL, DB2, and IBM i security experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and support IBM i applications.
• Write and deploy RPG and CL code, using RPG III/IV/ILE, SQL, and CL.
• Analyze requirements and translate into technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and system issues quickly.
• Optimize database structures and reporting with SQL/DB2.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in security, integration, and QA activities.
