Job summary

OPIO LLC is seeking a Software Developer (Mobile Application) for a fully remote role. The position focuses on developing iOS apps using Swift and Objective-C, leveraging the iOS SDK, Xcode, and related frameworks. You will work within Development & Engineering to deliver high-quality mobile solutions.

The role requires hands-on experience with MVC/MVVM/VIPER patterns, RESTful services, and performance tuning, with a strong emphasis on the full mobile development lifecycle and automation testing.

Qualifications

• Advanced level of IOS- Apple Apps (Swift, Objective C, iOS SDK & XCode).
• Advanced level of MySQL Database
• Advanced level in Maps in-app integration
• Advanced level in Sockets / SDK API's integration

Responsibilities

• 3 years with a good understanding of IOS development.
• Highly experienced with MVC, MVVM, VIPER design patterns and thorough understanding of Agile Development, mobile development best practices.
• Proficient with Objective-C or Swift, Cocoa Touch and the XCode tool set.
• Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics, Core Text and Core Location.
• Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries, ffmpeg, Video and image processing.
• Experience with offline storage, threading performance tuning and memory tuning with tools.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.
• Good knowledge of common design patterns, frameworks and libraries for mobile development.
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
• Discipline for testing and automation – unit, functional, integration, etc.
• Deliver high-quality, well-architected code that is clean and easy to understand and extend.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.
• Familiar with Socket.io library.
