Job summary

New York Life Insurance Co is seeking a Senior Associate, Investment Solutions Consultant to support Agency distribution by equipping agents with tools and training to drive investment sales. This fully remote role primarily covers Michigan, Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky, with up to 80% travel.

The ISC is responsible for achieving territory goals, delivering product information, and providing technical guidance to agents to grow investment sales. A FINRA license is required pre-hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Motivated and energetic individual with ability to drive objectives autonomously.
• Approximately 5 years of wholesaling experience in annuity/investment products.
• Broad knowledge of the annuity business, sales process, and dynamics of selling annuity/mutual fund products.
• Industry designations such as RICP, CHFC, CFP are highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with agents to develop and maintain strong business relationships.
• Develop a strong command of New York Life’s investment products and sales processes.
• Provide case development and design support.
• Introduce new product enhancements to field management and agents with emphasis on needs, markets, and tax issues of investment products.
• Deliver sales presentations to both agents and clients.
• Provide sales support and product information through in-person meetings and large group sessions.
• Proactively work with management.
