Job summary

Thrivent Financial is seeking an Associate for the West Advisor Group to support licensed financial advisors remotely across multiple states, including Washington, Nevada, Hawaii, California, and Arizona. The role focuses on securities and investment advisory products, life/health/annuities, and client support as licensure allows.

You will assist with prospecting, case preparation, and marketing initiatives while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Associates can be fully licensed, securities licensed, or insurance licensed.
• Must be securities registered/insurance licensed/appointed in all states where support is provided.
• Demonstrated customer service orientation/experience, 2+ years preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks with quality under frequent interruptions.
• Basic understanding of Thrivent Financial and its products.

Responsibilities

• Handle sensitive communications with members/customers, including confidential information.
• Co-present product seminars/workshops as needed.
• Identify fund selection criteria and track against indexes for WRAP accounts.
• Open and complete product applications; support meetings and follow-ups.
• Assist advisors with marketing, referrals, and community-building activities.
• Research and gather information to support suitable securities and advisory recommendations.
