Job summary

White Cap Supply Holdings, LLC. is seeking a data-driven Inventory Analyst to optimize product availability and balance across multiple locations.

You will analyze field inventory, identify excesses, and recommend repositioning or pullback strategies to improve utilization and on-hand metrics. Responsibilities include reviewing aging inventory, coordinating with purchasing and suppliers, and creating forecasts to inform field leadership decisions.

Qualifications

Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
Generally 2-5 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 2-4 years of experience in a related field.
Certification is required in some areas.

Responsibilities

Analyzes inventory data and makes decisions regarding aged inventory reduction.
Monitors exception reports and daily analytics for aged inventory business metrics.
Reviews and reports time sensitive exposure to the field in order to move product prior to expiration.
Partners with various departments on the disposition and retirement of aged products.
Maintains supplier relations, partners with supplier to address supplier returns, and collaborates with suppliers and purchasing to align on future inventory requirements.
Creates statistical forecasts and identifies and quantifies risks of inventory on hand.
Executes projects assigned by the field leadership team.
