Job summary

iRhythm Technologies is seeking an experienced Inventory & Cost Accounting Manager to oversee cost accounting, cost of revenue and inventory transactions. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to improve processes and ensure accurate standards and gross margins.

You will lead a matrixed team of accountants in a global organization, set and roll costs in the ERP, and support month‑end close with timely journal entries. This role requires SOX, GAAP expertise, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• 8+ years of accounting/finance experience, 5+ years cost accounting preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, data merges).

Responsibilities

• Be SME in manufacturing process from raw materials to finished goods and cost of sales.
• Perform analytics on cost of sales, absorption, PPV and margins; ensure accuracy of standards.
• Maintain integrity and accuracy of product cost data; assist with month-close.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze cost data and inform decisions.
• Lead matrixed team of accountants; delegate projects and review month-end close entries.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and regulatory requirements (PHI handling).
• Establish inventory policies and continuously improve management practices.
• Assist in BOM and routings setup; assist with material master in ERP.
