The Coding Specialist will code interventional procedures, along with the professional component for all imaging modalities in the Radiology Department.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and coding for CPT/ICD-10.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Access; internet resources.
• Able to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and interact with Radiology staff.

Responsibilities

• Code interventional procedures and professional component for imaging modalities (Interventional, MRI, CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, radiography).
• Provide education to physicians and teammates on coding and documentation.
• Coordinate with nursing/ancillary staff to obtain necessary documentation.
• Provide real-time feedback to Radiologists on coding and documentation.
