Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hospitalist experience.
• MD or DO; board certified in Internal Medicine (or Hospital Medicine-focused designation).
• Current or recent inpatient hospitalist experience (within last 2 years).
• Strong understanding of inpatient documentation and workflows (admission, progress notes, transitions, discharge).
• Comfortable reviewing clinical notes and raw medical record data.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow guidelines.
• Experience with chart review, CDI, utilization review, or medical coding is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review medical records and clinical notes for AI training purposes.
• Verify information is supported by the medical record.
• Assess inpatient documentation including HPI, PMH, meds reconciliation, and care plans.
• Follow guidelines and ensure consistency across records.
• Identify missing or incorrect information and flag discrepancies.
• Provide feedback to improve AI model learning and data quality.
