Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Internal Audit - Finance professional to support Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, audit testing and remediation activities across the business. The role focuses on evaluating control processes, documenting findings, and collaborating with process owners to drive improvements.

The position is open to remote candidates in Eastern and Central time zones, with responsibilities including planning, testing, presenting findings, and drafting observations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• 2+ years experience in external and / or internal audit or related field, preferred.
• Applies working knowledge of auditing, accounting and internal control concepts to evaluate financial and operational activities.

Responsibilities

• Assists project lead in completing planning and wrap up activities
• Conducts testing and completes analysis within designated timeframes and schedules
• Presents findings at status update meetings
• Partners with the business to identify remediation activities
• Drafts audit observations
