Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an Interconnection Engineer for a 1-year contract (W-2). The role supports coordination with Transmission Owners, ISO operators, and PPA clients to submit interconnection deliverables and provide engineering feedback on agreements.

Location options include remote work or Juno Beach, FL. Responsibilities include reviewing PPAs/IAs, assessing design impacts, and tracking milestones to ensure COD and proper plant compliance.

Qualifications

Knowledge of ISO tariffs and interconnection processes.
Familiarity with NERC and FERC standards in transmission/interconnection.
Experience with PPA/IA contracts specifically for power grids.

Responsibilities

Review draft Purchase Power Agreements and Interconnection Agreements for the assigned region.
Assess impact of requirements on project design and schedule and communicate with stakeholders.
Interface with Transmission Owners and Operators to align deliverables for interconnection and COD.
Monitor changes in interconnection processes for the ISO(s).
Track deliverables and milestones for PPAs and IAs.
Work with engineering teams to ensure PPAs/IAs are reflected in plant design.
