Job summary

Control Risks is hiring an Intelligence Analyst in Mountain View, CA to support a major global technology client. The role involves real-time monitoring, traveler assistance, and horizon scanning with a focus on rapid triage and clear communication during incidents.

The position offers a 4x10 schedule (Sun-Thu or Tue-Sat) from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm PT and a comprehensive benefits package. Prior GSOC or intelligence experience is preferred, with travel risk management tools experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in history, political science, intelligence analysis, criminal justice, or related discipline.
• 1–3 years of intelligence experience or GSOC experience.
• Experience with global risk intelligence and incident response software.
• Experience with emergency mass notification systems.
• Experience with travel risk management software platforms.
• Experience in collaborative environments such as government or corporate security operations centers.
• Experience evaluating open-source information for incident analysis.
• Japanese or Chinese language fluency is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Monitor travel-related developments impacting employees and provide first-line traveler support.
• Assist with secure transportation coordination and vetted vendors.
• Support pre-trip advisories, briefings, and traveler outreach.
• Draft concise alerts and rapid assessments; monitor real-time alerts and escalate as needed.
• Create and manage mass-notification groups for events.
• Provide on-demand support to internal intelligence teams.
