Job summary

Swingtech is seeking an Instructional Systems Designer to craft innovative, instructionally sound training and coordinate development for clients. The role supports remote locals with potential travel to Baltimore, MD, and collaborates with SMEs, designers, and writers to deliver high-quality eLearning and classroom training.

Qualifications

• BA/MA in Instructional Design, Instructional Systems Technology, Education, or related field – or - other degree plus equivalent experience
• Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook

Responsibilities

• Employ the ADDIE model and performance-based ISD processes to produce training solutions
• Create course design documents based on job task and user analysis
• Design instructional materials
• Develop end-user and facilitator training materials
• Incorporate SME input into materials
• Provide input for content and activity modifications
• Use multimedia and authoring tools to create content
• Ensure training complies with SCORM, FISMA, 508/504
• Suggest and implement new instructional tech
• Coordinate with clients and work with SMEs, designers, writers
• Present at workshops and training events
• Other duties as assigned
