Job summary

The role requires a graduate from a Health Information Management program and at least six years of coding experience in acute care. Ideal candidates will possess certifications such as RHIA or CCS. Qualifications

• Graduate of a Health Information Management program or approved Coding educational program.
• Six (6) years of proven coding experience in an acute care setting.
• Must possess relevant certification such as RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, etc.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits of medical record coding for compliance.
• Provide feedback and reports to the Coding Compliance Manager.
• Analyze documentation for accuracy in coding and billing.
• Maintain knowledge of medical coding guidelines and regulations.
• Develop internal controls to ensure adherence to laws and regulations.
