UnitedHealth Group is seeking an Inpatient Care Management Nurse to ensure proper utilization of health services and to assess and interpret member needs to promote healthier outcomes. This role offers remote work flexibility across the Eastern or Central Time Zones and follows a standard 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Formación

• Active, unrestricted RN license in state of residence.
• 1+ years recent clinical nursing experience in an Acute Inpatient Hospital setting.
• 1+ years of Utilization Review experience using InterQual Guidelines.
• Proficiency with Windows, Excel, Outlook and clinical platforms.
• Designated workspace with secure high-speed home internet.

Responsabilidades

• Perform initial and concurrent review of inpatient cases using InterQual criteria.
• Discuss cases with facility healthcare professionals to obtain plans of care.
• Collaborate with Medical Directors on utilization management.
• Support care progression discussions to ensure appropriate level of care.
• Assist with discharge planning and coordination with care teams.
