You will analyze diverse logs, coordinate with cyber defense teams, and design countermeasures to reduce risk while following established incident response practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MIS, IT, or Engineering related.
• Knowledge in 1 or more of the following: security operations, incident response, threat hunting, threat intelligence.
• Knowledge of scripting: PowerShell or Python.
• Experience utilizing the following Microsoft tooling: Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Power Automate.
• Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading, and writing English is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze log files from diverse sources to identify security threats.
• Apply incident handling frameworks (e.g. VERIS, MITRE, NIST, ISF).
• Provide expert support to resolve cyber incidents and implement best practices.
• Review escalated incidents with cyber defense staff.
• Assess security controls for services, apps, and processes.
• Identify, capture, and report malware; review anomalous code.
