TrustedSec is seeking an Incident Response Consultant to join our IR team. The role suits someone with hands-on IR/DFIR experience, ready to work client incidents alongside senior consultants and grow into an independent responder.

The position offers remote work within the United States, with occasional travel to client sites and events. Responsibilities include live incident investigations, host and network forensics across Windows and enterprise networks, malware triage, and helping shape

Formación

• Must have hands-on Incident Response experience and be comfortable handling investigations
• Windows Incident Response experience required
• Strong log and network traffic analysis skills
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and investigative abilities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently within a distributed team
• Professional handling of sensitive information

Responsabilidades

• Support live incident investigations for clients with guidance from senior consultants
• Analyze host and network forensics across Windows, Linux, and cloud environments
• Perform malware triage and contribute to containment, eradication, and recovery efforts
• Draft report sections and findings for senior review and client communication
• Develop and publish research, presentations, and contribute to the firm’s thought leadership
• Contribute to IR readiness engagements and internal playbooks

Educación

Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity or computer science
