The role involves translating UI text from English to Igbo, recording clear samples, and collaborating with engineers to refine annotation tools and tasks. Remote work is possible; some US locations may have restrictions.

Qualifications

• Igbo native with diverse accents and dialects.
• Proficient English at least B2 with clear vocal delivery.
• Strong ability to transcribe and annotate multilingual speech.
• Experience evaluating speech quality across languages.
• Ability to translate and localize UI/content English↔Igbo.

Responsibilities

• Label, annotate, record, and provide inputs on multilingual audio projects.
• Translate and localize text strings from English into Igbo with accuracy and cultural nuance.
• Curate high-quality audio data to improve Grok's multilingual capabilities.
