Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking an IC Security Architect to lead security architecture planning for regulated SaaS, cloud, on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments, including Azure Government. You will translate FedRAMP, NIST, FIPS, HIPAA, FISMA, and other requirements into secure designs and evidence.

You will design IAM, encryption, logging, DevSecOps, and continuous monitoring patterns, lead threat modeling and security reviews, and develop SSPs and ADRs while engaging with federal

Qualifications

• Must meet federal background and suitability requirements.
• 8+ years of experience in information security or security architecture.
• Deep expertise in FedRAMP Moderate/High; NIST 800-53/171; FIPS; HIPAA; FISMA.
• Experience with SaaS, cloud, and hybrid deployments.

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture planning, design, and implementation guidance for regulated SaaS, federal cloud environments, high-compliance enclaves, and hybrid/on-prem deployments.
• Define authorization boundaries, trust zones, data flows, interconnections, and inheritance.
• Translate FedRAMP Moderate/High, NIST, CMMC, HIPAA, FISMA, FIPS, and other requirements into secure designs, standards, implementation guidance, and evidence.
• Design IAM capabilities including passwordless authentication and PIV/CAC, privileged access, and federal integrations.
• Define and recommend encryption patterns, PKI, TLS/mTLS, and key/secret management.
• Establish secure Azure, Azure Government, on-prem, hybrid, and multi-cloud patterns.
