CTG, a Cegeka company, seeks an IBM z/OS Migration Consultant to lead Easytrieve Plus (EZT) to COBOL migrations using IBM Migration Utility (IMU). This remote, ongoing contract role supports our client’s z/OS environment and requires hands-on IMU experience.

Responsibilities include installing and configuring IMU on IBM z/OS, migrating EZT apps to COBOL, troubleshooting IMU issues, and delivering training and technical materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience with IBM z/OS migration projects and IMU required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Easytrieve Plus (EZT) to COBOL migration projects using IMU.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot IMU on IBM z/OS systems.
• Analyze, convert, and validate EZT applications to COBOL.
• Provide technical support for IMU-related issues.
• Assist clients with diagnosing and resolving conversion errors.
• Conduct IMU training sessions and develop materials.
• Collaborate with IBM teams and client stakeholders for delivery.
• Document migration processes and best practices.
