Job summary

Strata Information Group (SIG) seeks an Identity and Access Management Consultant to partner with higher education institutions, assess IAM infrastructure, and guide solutions from discovery through implementation and ongoing support.

This fully remote role requires 5+ years IAM consulting, knowledge of SAML/CAS, MFA, LDAP/AD, and hands-on experience with IdP platforms; SIG offers travel for onsite engagements, competitive pay, and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IAM consulting for higher education or similar environments.
• Experience designing IAM architectures with access control and identity management.
• Knowledge of SSO, MFA, LDAP/AD, and directory services.
• Experience with IdP solutions and configuring trust relationships.

Responsibilities

• Design IAM solutions aligned with client goals and compliance.
• Develop IAM architectures including access control and identity management.
• Stay current with IAM tools and recommend suitable solutions.
• Assess client IAM infrastructure, identify risks, and propose remediations.
• Create IAM policies and procedures in line with regulations.
• Provide lifecycle guidance from discovery to post-implementation support.
