Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems Management, or related field with 1-2 years experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Technology, Health Information Management, Bioinformatics, Biostatistics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 3-5 years experience.
• Epic Cosmos Administration Certification prerequisites; Cosmos Admin Certification required within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with researchers to define data needs and develop strategies for data access.
• Develop communications and resources to promote data and informatics tools usage across Children’s Mercy.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy standards, training requirements, and policies.
• Report progress, issues, and concerns to vendors, supervisor, project manager, and Research Informatics leadership.
