The position requires 2+ years in healthcare admin and data analysis, with knowledge of medical terminology and strong customer service skills.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
  • Two years’ experience in medical office/healthcare admin and two years in customer service.
  • One to two years' experience analyzing data and information.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Accounting or budgeting experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office certification preferred.
  • THW Certification preferred or willing to obtain within one year; must reside in Oregon.
  • Bilingual skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and centralize the HRSN benefit while ensuring accessibility for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Review HRSN requests for appropriate utilization based on guidelines.
  • Authorize requests in compliance with contracts and Health Plan policies.
  • Maintain documentation and enter encounter data and claims.
  • Educate employees about the HRSN process.
  • Create reports and documents related to HRSN activities.
  • Support quality improvement initiatives and audit preparation.
  • Participate in weekly FlexFund meetings and coordinate with the Chief Compliance & Quality Officer.
