Job summary

Axiom seeks an HR Generalist to support the HR Department. This is a remote role with the candidate required to reside in Maryland. The position involves records management, recruitment, onboarding/offboarding, benefits administration, employee communications, engagement initiatives, and performance/training coordination.

Minimum requirements include U.S. citizenship, background screening, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, and 2+ years in HR operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant area or equivalent years of education and experience.
• 2+ years of experience supporting human resources operations.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Background screening required.
• HR certification a plus.
• Federal contracting experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Records Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and ensure documentation meets compliance.
• Recruitment & Selection: Post job openings, source resumes, and schedule interviews; administer incentives and referrals.
• Employee Onboarding & Offboarding: Process new hire paperwork; prepare exit interviews and terminations.
• Benefits Administration: Enroll employees in benefit programs; handle benefit inquiries and status changes.
• Employee Communications: Develop content and designs for communicating information to employees and potential hires.
• Employee-related Initiatives: Support engagement, training, events and campaigns.
• Performance Management & Training: Coordinate appraisal processes and maintain records; assist with training programs.
