Job summary

R.D. Offutt Farms is seeking an HR Business Partner to collaborate with field leaders and support farm teams via meaningful HR initiatives. The role includes regular in-person support at farm offices and travel across Minnesota, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and North Dakota locations.

You will build partnerships, drive talent management, and advise on employment matters. This role offers remote work with planned onsite presence roughly one week per month and 25–30% travel.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Human Resources.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Communications, or related field.
• Experience in employee performance management.
• Ability to handle employment disputes and separations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Willingness to travel regularly to farm office locations.
• Must have valid work authorization in the U.S. (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Build trusted partnerships with field leaders to provide HR guidance.
• Champion talent success by supporting recruiting, hiring, and performance management.
• Advise on sensitive employment matters including conflict resolution and separation processes.
• Collaborate with leaders to drive career development and succession planning strategies.
