Job summary

The Coding Network (TCN) is seeking Hospitalist E&M coders to perform daily coding for multiple clients nationwide. Coders access operation reports through a remote EMR connection and deliver coded cases.

Hours range from 15 to 40 per week, with additional Hospitalist work anticipated in coming months. Applicants must have at least 3 years of Hospitalist-specific coding experience and an active CPC/RHIA/RHIT certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Hospitalist-specific coding experience.
• Active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT) required.
• U.S. resident; live and work in the United States; must pass TCN Hospitalist Coding Exam.

Responsibilities

• Code daily Hospitalist cases from operation reports via remote EMR access.
• Support multiple clients nationwide with timely, accurate coding.
• Work on a flexible 15–40 hour/week contract.

Job description

The Coding Network (TCN) is looking to contract with Hospitalist E&M coders to perform the daily Hospitalist coding for a number of clients throughout the country. The coder will access the operation reports via a remote connection to the client's EMR and return the coded cases. Hours can range from a 15-40 hour/week commitment.

We currently have enough work available for multiple coders, and are scheduled to bring on additional Hospitalist work in March 2022.

All applicants must:

• Have a minimum of 3 years of Hospitalist Specific Coding
• Have an active coding certification (CPC, RHIA, RHIT)
• Live and work in the United States of America
• Take and pass TCN’s Hospitalist Coding Exam
