Job summary

Omm IT Solutions is seeking a Manager of Financial Accounting to lead financial operations for a 3-hospital consortium. The role blends core accounting with hands-on operations, overseeing the close, subledger management, and financial reporting in a healthcare setting.

The ideal candidate will have 5–7 years in GL/accounting within healthcare, strong US GAAP/GASB knowledge, and 2–3 years of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience: 5–7 years in general ledger accounting or controller-level finance.
• Healthcare background in hospital/healthcare system required.
• 2–3 years of supervisory experience managing accounting staff.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and GASB standards; internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial accounting for 3 hospital facilities and related entities.
• Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with accurate journ entries.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports for executives.
• Oversee subledger integrations (billing, payroll, AP) into the GL.
• Maintain internal controls and liaise with auditors.
