Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a Home Health Billing and Collections Specialist to manage daily billing and collections within our Home Health Revenue Cycle Department.

The role offers a remote work option with some in-office hours and ideally Ohio residency. Responsibilities include accurate patient billing, cash posting, and aging analyses to maintain cash flow while complying with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a related field required or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years experience in home health billing.
• Experience with popular home health billing software.
• Knowledge of DDE is a must.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and maintain complete patient billing records in compliance with policies.
• Post cash and balance monies from insurance by month end; handle over/under-payments.
• Process Medicaid/coordinations for admissions, transfers, discharges; file denials.
• Review aging and month-end billing; keep AR days within target; report issues.
