Job summary

Turing, based in San Francisco, seeks Hindi-speaking photographers and AI data annotators to build evaluation materials for frontier AI systems. You will source, modify, and document real-world images to challenge multimodal AI agents in multi-step visual research tasks.

This fully remote contractor role requires at least 20 hours per week and up to 16 weeks. You will also prepare prompts, grading rubrics, and solution notes to complete deliverables.

Qualifications

• Native or fluent Hindi speaker with strong English; prompts and notes in English.
• Experience in AI evaluation, data annotation, content review, or QA is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Source authentic, licensed photographs relevant to Hindi-speaking locales.
• Verify image copyright status, license type and provenance.
• Conduct multi-step research to verify image subjects from partial clues.
• Create cropped, masked, or degraded image versions preserving realistic clues.
• Write prompts in English without revealing target identity.
• Develop concise, objective one-sentence rubrics for each evaluation instance.
• Prepare solution notes with ground-truth identity, process, evidence, and expected outcomes.
