Job summary

SOLV Energy, a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, is seeking a Project Manager for remote work overseeing substation projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing complex substation projects from design to energization.

This role involves ensuring compliance with project requirements, budget management, and leading subcontractor teams to successful project completion. Competitive salary range of $110,837 - $138,547 annually with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in substation design, construction, or commissioning of utility-scale or industrial high-voltage (69kV to 500kV) systems.
• Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary substation projects through full lifecycle—from kickoff to energization.
• Working knowledge of utility operations, switching procedures, relay testing, and energization protocols.

Responsibilities

• Execute responsibilities of a Project Engineer with focus on substation design and construction.
• Review contracts and specifications to ensure compliance.
• Manage and track the substation budget.
• Lead Utility Coordination Meetings focused on relay settings and testing protocols.
