Job summary

Cognizant invites a Senior Consulting Manager to join our remote U.S. team. You will lead client engagements, guide cross-functional teams, and deliver contextual solutions addressing complex business needs.

You’ll apply healthcare payer expertise, manage projects, and drive value with disciplined resource use and stakeholder communication. You will partner with clients to develop business cases, during workshops, and in post-engagement lessons learned.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Digital technology team lead experience with client management responsibilities.
• 6-8 years of consulting experience as a Payer SME.
• Management Consulting experience, preferably with top firms.
• Strong background in Healthcare, including health plans, claims, and provider operations.
• Project management and people management experience.
• Excellent communication skills, including presenting PowerPoint materials.
• Exposure to technology-driven projects and digital transformation initiatives.
• Deep understanding of payer functions and Medicaid plan implementations.

Responsibilities

• Directs a small-to-medium consulting team through client engagements and business-case development.
• Aligns industry expertise to engagement requirements.
• Manages client escalations and resource use for timely delivery.
• Ensures activities align with priorities and goals.
• Addresses capability gaps to support engagement opportunities.
• Participates in client workshops and business-analysis interviews.
• Oversees day-to-day team activities and project staff.
• Leads communications with stakeholders and status reporting.
