Job summary

WPS is seeking a Customer Care Center Rep to deliver exceptional service to members, brokers, and providers. You will research and resolve health plan inquiries with clear, accurate responses and empathy.

The role is primarily remote with training in Central Time and standard weekday hours after training. Ideal candidates have 1+ year in health insurance customer service, strong communication, and the ability to navigate multiple systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• One (1) or more years of customer service experience in a health insurance or healthcare call center.
• Strong verbal and written communication with ability to explain complex information.
• Problem-solving skills with empathy and patience.
• Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and navigating websites/portals.
• Adherence to a structured schedule based around Central Time.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for members, brokers, and providers, answering inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, claims, billing, and healthcare services.
• Assist members in understanding benefits, eligibility, claim status and resolution of billing issues.
• Respond to provider inquiries related to claims, authorizations, and reimbursement status.
• Address and resolve service requests, complaints and issues efficiently, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address complex inquiries and facilitate a seamless experience.
• Review information across multiple systems to resolve inquiries with clear, professional responses.
• Accurately document all interactions in the system for follow-up actions and QA.
