Job summary

Datavant is seeking a remote ROI specialist to process medical record requests efficiently and accurately. You will safeguard patient privacy, ensure HIPAA compliance, and handle requests from internal and external sources while supporting the HIS team.

The role requires about 1 year of Health Information experience, MS Office proficiency, and strong written and verbal English. 7:30am–4:00pm CST with potential overtime and weekends may apply.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of HIPAA and medical terminology.
• Familiar with different EHR and Billing Systems.
• Experience handling subpoenas is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process requests for patient health information in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of privileged information.
• Respond to requests for patient records from both internal and external sources.
• Assist with training HIS I staff and generate reports for management.
