Job summary

Siemens Healthineers is seeking a Health Informatics Analyst to support operational-improvement initiatives across health systems. You will analyze healthcare data, assist in designing Snowflake data structures, and transform data for visualization in Qlik, collaborating with consultants and customers to deliver analytics solutions.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years in healthcare data analytics, with strong SQL and BI experience (preferably Qlik).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, computer science, health informatics, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics, database management, data engineering, or business intelligence in a Healthcare arena.
• Intermediate-to-advanced skills in at least one technical discipline such as BI development, SQL, data engineering, or data science.
• Strong SQL capability applied to data organization, architecture, and reporting optimization.
• Hands-on experience developing or supporting BI solutions, preferably with Qlik.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms; Snowflake experience preferred.
• Experience with data cleaning, transformation, integration, quality assurance, and technical documentation.
• Ability to communicate analytical findings to non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Analyze healthcare data and customer workflows to support team solutions.
• Support design and maintenance of Snowflake database structures.
• Transform and optimize data for visualization and analysis in Qlik.
• Develop analytics tools, reusable data assets, visuals, and KPIs with clinical consultants.
• Apply SQL, BI, data engineering or data science to resolve issues.
• Investigate data issues and propose improvements.
• Define and acquire required data with customers and project teams, including Epic data.
• Manage datasets across projects ensuring data quality, traceability, security, and delivery.
• Document solutions and share knowledge; participate in peer reviews.
• Monitor progress and risks; collaborate with local and global Siemens teams and support pre-sales as needed.
