Job summary

Pekin Insurance is seeking a Guidewire Developer to collaborate with product and platform teams, delivering, configuring, and maintaining PolicyCenter functionality with Gosu and integration patterns. You will work on end-to-end quoting workflows, policy administration, and cloud deployments in an agile setting.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, collaboration with stakeholders, and ongoing process improvements, including CI/CD and cloud-based releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Typically 5–8 years of software engineering with Guidewire PolicyCenter.
• Experience in Agile environments and enterprise insurance apps.
• Guidewire Cloud and Producer Engage/Digital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and support Guidewire PolicyCenter configurations and integrations.
• Develop, test, and maintain PolicyCenter functionality with Gosu and configuration patterns.
• Collaborate with Analysts, Product Owners, and QA to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Contribute to CI/CD, deployments, and Guidewire Cloud release processes.
• Mentor other developers and contribute to architectural runway.
