Job summary

USAble Life is seeking a diligent Group Underwriter I/II to join a national remote team. You will generate rates for new groups and renewals, verify data accuracy, and support client inquiries using established underwriting guidelines under supervision.

This role offers growth with multi-level responsibilities and an opportunity to advance within underwriting. Ideal candidates will have strong math, analytical abilities, and solid communication skills, plus familiarity with MS Office and rating

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4 - 6 years of related experience or equivalent military experience.
• Understanding of underwriting principles and rating methodology.

Responsibilities

• Assesses risk and produces rates for new groups with guidance from senior level roles.
• Completes annual renewals for all products and performs related maintenance tasks.
• Services current group clients including benefit changes, reporting, and response to telephone and email inquiries.
• Verifies sold case data including final rating.
