Job summary

The role is remote with core hours 8am–5pm ET and may require rotating weekends/holidays to meet timelines; benefits include comprehensive coverage and bonus eligibility.

Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years in appeals/grievances in healthcare; strong leadership and regulatory knowledge encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of appeals and grievances processing experience in a healthcare or managed care setting preferred.
• Experience in healthcare law preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Appeals & Grievance processes comply with standards and policies.
• Serve as resource for escalated/complex issues, regulatory updates.
• Monitor and distribute team’s caseload for adequate coverage.
• Provide daily feedback and guidance on performance and problem resolution.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements with other departments.
• Train and onboard new team members; perform other duties as assigned.
