Job summary

Banner Plans & Networks is seeking a Grievance and Appeals Coordinator to manage intake, review, investigation, and resolution of grievances, appeals, and provider disputes. This high-volume role requires precise documentation, adherence to timelines, and collaboration with internal teams and providers to ensure compliant, timely responses.

Position primarily remote with Arizona residency required for consideration; standard shift is 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Monday–Friday.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of AHCCCS, HCG and CMS regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with CRM & IDX and medical terminology.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Handles intake, review, investigation and resolution of grievances, appeals and provider disputes.
• Maintains case files and documentation in CRM; ensures timely correspondence per regulations.
• Communicates with members, providers and internal teams to resolve issues.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory timelines and privacy requirements.
• Supports internal departments with grievances, appeals and claim-dispute processes.
• Participates in meetings and prepares required correspondence and letters.
