Job summary

LaunchDarkly Group is seeking a Security Analyst III for its Governance, Risk, and Compliance team. This remote role demands deep cybersecurity knowledge and excellent communication skills.

You will collaborate with various teams to implement security controls, support compliance, and contribute to audits. A strong background with SaaS, AWS environments, and relevant certifications will be beneficial. The target pay ranges significantly based on geographic zones within the US.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles.
• Experience with compliance management in tech-oriented organizations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and operate security controls.
• Use technology to automate compliance activities.
• Track program metrics for continuous improvement.
• Support audits and assessments with stakeholders.

Skills

Deep cybersecurity, privacy, and risk management knowledge and skill

Excellent communication skills – written and verbal

Experience working on collaborative projects

Depth with modern cloud-based SaaS organizations – specifically AWS control environments

Strong familiarity with security standards (SOC 2, ISO 27001, ISO 27701, FedRAMP)

Familiarity with LaunchDarkly’s collaboration tools like Confluence, Slack, and GitHub

Considerable knowledge of software development and architecture

Education

CCSP, PCI QSA, CISSP, or CISA/CISM certifications
