Coinbase is hiring a Manager, GRC to join the Technology Risk & Controls team. You will lead second line advisory coverage across critical technology and security domains, partnering with engineering and risk owners to strengthen controls, governance, and risk management across the business.

You will build trusted partnerships with engineering, policy, and assurance teams, coach a team of analysts, and help leadership make risk-informed decisions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology risk, IT controls, IT audit, cybersecurity risk, or compliance with hands-on GRC delivery.
• Strong understanding of technical design and governance across infrastructure resiliency, SDLC, change management, or incident response.
• Experience evaluating risks and controls, improving risk outcomes and maturity.
• Proven track record mentoring analysts and delivering timelines.

Responsabilités

• Lead second line advisory coverage for key technology and security domains.
• Partner with engineering to evaluate domain posture and identify needed controls or governance improvements.
• Review designs of risks and controls to ensure scalable, effective mitigations.
• Coordinate across risk, controls, policy, audit, and assurance teams for actionable improvements.
• Intake, triage, and calculate inherent and residual risk with SMEs and risk owners.
• Communicate risk tradeoffs and tie findings to prioritization and reporting.
• Build, grow, and coach a team of analysts to maintain agility and performance.
