Job summary

Design Action is seeking a Graphic Designer to create branding systems, illustrations, social media graphics, posters, and multi-page documents for print, presentation, and web.

You will collaborate with clients and the design team in a fully remote, worker-owned studio dedicated to social justice. Candidates with experience in a cooperative environment and strong Adobe skills are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) and font management.
• Experience in cooperative workplace environments and ownership pathways.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines with clear communication.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong time-management, organization, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Create visual branding and guidelines across print and digital platforms.
• Collaborate with clients to identify branding needs and develop concepts.
• Direct client communications for requests and revisions.
• Work with project managers and art director to meet deadlines and solve design challenges.
• Manage multiple projects using Basecamp and Harvest with proactive status updates.
