Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in grant administration and compliance with sponsor guidelines.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills for complex budgets.

Responsibilities

  • Pre-award duties for complex proposals and coordination with faculty.
  • Manage budgeting, justifications, and data for proposals.
  • Coordinate with the Chair, Faculty, and Department Administrators.
  • Stay current on federal and university developments regarding research administration and regulations.
  • Coordinate submission with PI to prepare budget and obtain pricing quotes.
  • Prepare and review agency forms and enter grant budgeting documents online.
  • Assist with subaward setup and post-award coordination to ensure timely implementation of contracts.
  • Monitor and coordinate NOA reviews, annual RPPRs, and transfer of PI grants and contracts.
  • Coordinate grant-related information requests (audits, effort, human/animal protocol).
