Job summary

Hanover Research is seeking a Grants Contractor to support scientific research proposals for higher education clients. The role entails assessing funding program fit, advising on concept development, and revising narratives to meet funder requirements.

You will work with Content Directors and remote teams to craft compelling grants, manage deadlines, and deliver client-ready materials with minimal oversight. A STEM background and strong writing/editing skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience writing and researching for a scientific audience.
• Strong editing and fact-checking in English.
• Ability to provide constructive feedback and facilitate training.
• Experience writing grant proposals and understanding funder requirements.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and revise STEM/health science proposal narratives to optimize competitiveness.
• Create strong grant proposals from conception to submission.
• Provide consultative grant-writing services to clients.
• Coordinate with remote proposal development teams to meet deadlines.
• Independently produce client-ready deliverables with minimal oversight.
• Manage tight deadlines to produce timely proposals.
